"Christian," said Landon, "you said you have something to propose to us?"
"Yes. I am sure that this feud between vampires and werewolves is going to go on and on. But with Bella and Tybalt mated, I am sure we can come to some sort of arrangement," replied Christian.
"What arrangement would that be?"
Both Bella and Tybalt were nervous about this and they were sure that they were both going to hear something they didn't want to hear. An arrangement between werewolves and vampires was not going to work because they hated each other. The feud was always going to be in the way.
"A marriage," said Christian.
Tybalt and Bella's jaws dropped. No one said anything about them getting married. Tybalt hated this. It was bad enough that he was mated to a vampire and now he was going to have to marry her. This was going to ruin anything he could have between Kassidy and he hated it. He didn't want this and he could never agree to it. He was never going to agree to be Bella's husband.

Love in the world of werewolves and vampires was complicated. 
Tybalt and Bella knew that all too well.

Things got harder when Damon and his brother Stefan moved back to Mystic Falls; Stefan wanting to have a bit of normality in his life and Damon, in search of who he thought to be the woman he loved. Safe to say, that although Fin stayed where she lived while Damon went to Mystic Falls, it wasn't long before Damon called her and asked for her to come help him.
