16 year old Tanitra Johnson was a small town girl in Atlanta Georgia. Now she lives in Harlem, NY East side on deck. She joined a gang called "Thug Life". Her grades is going down, she hasn't been coming straight home often, and she's been outside late at night with the thugs.

16 year old Jacob Perez is bullied at school. He's now called "the school nerd" because of how smart he is. He wonders why everybody bullies him for no reason like what did he do to everyone. 

The two individuals pair up for a science project for class. Tanitra doesn't want to do it and Jacob is, willing to get started.
