Three sons , and only children, of the late Piper Green'Hale are troubled when they try to carry on. Each year, every son receives a letter about their mother on their birthday from an anonymous person. The letters, although an obstacle for them to move on, brings them closer together as a family. The Green'Hale brothers begin to live a childhood they sought to see, and go through pain an emotion. Every year, every letter brings them closer to this anonymous person.
