Elina is an 11 year old girl who loves water. She swims a lot, and doesn't ever want to get out of the pool when it's time to leave. She has been called a 'fish out of water' many times. She can hold her breath for a very long time. She is bad at swimming freestyle or other normal strokes, but really good at diving, and the mermaid. She has always wondered why this is, until one day, she is visiting the ocean with her family, and a wave sweeps over her and pulls her under.
