Relinquished Nightmares

Time and time again, Aria Belmonte is betrayed by the people close to her. She can't remember the faces of her parents who left her on the footsteps of the orphanage, but only that they left her. And even at the orphanage, she watches the other children run into open arms, no one sparing her a second glance.
At 11 years of age, with her hope almost extinguished, a miracle happens, and Aria gets adopted by a young couple with a son two years older than her. But is it really a miracle? After all, Aria had come to face the fact that there is no such thing. And she was right. History was merely repeating itself in a greater magnitude.
However, one decision can blow history out of its course, but to make it, there will be sacrifices, self-discovery, and scars--mental and physical.
