He finds her shyness endearing and wishes to get to know her better. Unbeknownst to Loki, Aphrodite and Hermes are just using their daughter as a pawn to get close to the throne as well as acquiring a piece of Asgardian land. When Loki finds out what her parents are up to, he's even more determined to get her away from her parents so they can't use her anymore. Conflict in soothes between Loki and the young goddess' parents. The young goddess' parents try to come between Loki and young goddess. They even go as far as sending her brother to try and bring her back to Olympus.
