"Make your choice, little one." If it hadn't been for the preposterous question and situation, she would've spoken up in a clear state ages ago. Her body, however, seemed to defy the laws of motion. She never thought more than what was expected of her, never believed in such abstract concepts, and most definitely hadn't anticipated such a clever and mysterious creature to become her ticket to such a place.

Just Following Orders
He usually prefers his employees to be less...bubbly. Energetic. A little more like him, essentially. But there was something about her the moment she introduced herself. Maybe it was the way she looked at him, or the way she smiled at everyone in her line of sight, who knows. But, whatever the reason is, he hates it. He hates that he gave into that feeling when he met her. She manages to find her way into his mind 24/7, unlike any woman ever has. She doesn't think she's ever seen someone as angry at the world as him. He can be rude and he doesn't always think about other's feelings before he speaks. A scowl somehow is always set on his face, like he was born that way. For any other person, a man like that would make you want to simply ignore him. But not her. She has her heart set on making him smile. Even just a little. Maybe even a laugh. And she is not giving up any time soon. She wakes up in a cage cold and confused. She refuses to show any weakness in this strange new place; she shoves everything down, deep down behind a mask of indifference snippy remarks and a few right hooks. She wont let these new and strange boys see her cry, she wont show them any signs of weakness. She can't, she's the only girl and she needs to be tough. It's the only way to survive this harsh new world she finds herself in. Being tough and ruthless catches the attention of one particular builder. He's not one for emotions either, especially in a place like the Glade. He knows something is off, and he does his absolute best to keep order around him and in him, when everything's falls apart. Are these two destined to be together? Or are they too similar in personalities? Are they too broken from their own traumas to work it out? Maybe she likes him. Kind of. Maybe he might like her. She probably hates him. He can't stand her. They don't want the other to know. But maybe they do...a little. Who has time for romance and feelings in a place like The Maze. Life. Romance. "I've given you enough time Kat" giving an icky smirk he took a seat.
