"HURRY!!! AFTER HIM!!"  

     I kept on running faster and faster, ignoring the pain in my body. Small trickle of blood trailed down the side of my cheeks, dripping off of my chin and landed soundlessly on the forest ground beneath me. Jolts of pain shot up my frail legs as I pushed myself to run faster. 

     I heard the shouts from behind me grow faint before they disappeared completely. I slowed to a stop beside a tree panting hard.
