Tyler, a 20 year-old aspiring song writer, is busy trying to make it big in the music industry, when a homeless girl named Indigo shows up on his porch. She aggressively befriends him, and soon, the two connect over music. Indigo encourages him to write meaningful music instead of shallow, catchy pop songs, but Tyler can't afford that. He needs to start making money from this whole music thing before his dad kicks him out of the house at the end of the summer. If catchy pop songs are what make money, that's what he'll write.
