This is the story of Maria Mason.
Maria started her freshman year with little hope for the future. She was sad, lonely, and broken. Her anxiety and depression were getting worse each day. After months of begging her parents, they finally allowed her to apply to the school of her dreams, and she got in. Maria got the chance to do something she thought she'd never do. At the age of fourteen, Maria left everyone she'd ever known in Louisiana and moved to Los Angeles. It was a new beginning for her, but she wasn't sure if it would be a better one.
