It all started when I came to a new school...
Haha just kidding, but it was kind of like that.
My name is Willamina MacKennan. Well, my full name is. Most people just call me Will. I'm 17 years old.
The summer before senior year of high school, I got a makeover. My braces came off, I dyed my hair brown(I have naturally light blonde hair so I didn't have to bleach it), and I also lost 45 lbs. I was completely unrecognizable. On the first day of school, I noticed there was a sign up sheet to run for student body president. I thought, 'why the hell not' and signed up. Little did I know that this would turn into a huge mistake- but also the best decision I had ever made.

"Would you like to dance?" the boy asks me. I stare deep into his blue eyes, but I can't figure out who he is. He's tall with dark hair and the brightest blue eyes I've ever seen. I agreed to dance with a random boy who I don't know. He takes my hand and leads me to the dance floor. We dance for a few songs and then he asks me, "Would you like to take a walk? I know the perfect place." I nod and he pulls me behind him off the dance floor. We leave the hotel and start walking down a little path. At the end of the path I notice a little fountain surrounded by candles. I wonder if he set this up. We walk over to the fountain and we sit down on the edge. "I had a wonderful time tonight," says the guy. He reaches to his face and removes his mask. I recognize him immediately. ... that changes everything Sarah was starting her junior year of high school. Looking at herself in the mirror, she saw a pretty average blonde haired, blue eyed, teenager. No one knew it, but her father was a high functioning alcoholic that often took his anger out on his family. With her older sister now in college, it had turned to her more often. Laying low in general was a good strategy. Across town, Ryan was prepping for his final year in high school. While he wasn't the stereotypical quarterback of the football team, he did fit into the popular crowd. His sports of choice included basketball and soccer, either of which might line him up for a scholarship next year. Ryan had a group of close friends and a lot of adoring acquaintances. It wasn't easy juggling his athletics and keeping the grades up, but he was just that good. The supporting parents didn't hurt either. "You dropped this." I heard a husky voice say. I turned around to look at what I dropped and realized it was my schedule. I gasped. Damn, I would have been fucked if I'd lost it.
