Nixie was once like any other 14-year-old girl, full of promise and excitement about the future. She had a normal life, surrounded by friends, laughter, and the hope of new beginnings as she prepared to start high school. Her childhood had been filled with simple joys-sleepovers, school dances, and carefree days spent with the people who mattered most. But when she moved back to her hometown to start fresh, everything changed. At first, high school seemed like a new chapter, but Nixie quickly found herself the target of relentless bullying and harassment. The whispers in the hallways, the cruel laughter behind her back, and the social exclusion became too much to bear. She tried to stay strong, but the weight of it all crushed her. The once vibrant girl, full of dreams and hope, began to retreat into herself, feeling lost and worthless. Her insecurities grew as the bullying escalated, and she turned inward, struggling with a deep depression. The pain became unbearable, and in an attempt to numb it, Nixie found herself turning to drugs. What began as an escape quickly spiraled into something more, leaving her feeling even more disconnected from the world around her. Each day felt like a battle, and the person she once was seemed to slip further and further away. Nixie became trapped in a cycle of self-harm, both physically and emotionally, as the darkness took hold of her life. The vibrant, hopeful girl she used to be seemed like a distant memory, replaced by someone who was struggling to survive. Her high school years, once filled with potential, became a battleground where the cruelty of others and her own inner demons fought for control. She turned into someone she didn't want to turn into.
