It all started with mom. It was the most perfect day. Zap, our blue jay was chirping and drinking nectar, while mom was making a fruit salad. Mom loved that blue jay. She said it was like a perfect version of life. That never made seance to me. Dad was laughing with Rosemary about something while I was giving Zap some music lessons by whistling some tunes . Mom had just finished cutting the watermelon when we heard Shiva our neighbors cat hissing. She was always escaping and causing trouble. Mom asked if I could take care of her. So I got up and closed the cage, or so I thought. I come back to see a closed cage but Zap was missing. It all went down from there.
