ljósálfar or " Light Elves" reside in one of the more dominant planets within the Nine Realms, called Alfheim.
Alfheim was ruled by a Vanir by the name of Freyr.
Freyr is the god of sunshine and rain, and is also the patron of bountiful harvests. He is a God of peace and a brave warrior, and an honorary member of the Aesir despite having first arrived on Asgard as a hostage.
Freyr wishes to keep peace and good tidings between his home Alfheim and Asgard. It was agreed between the two kings that once Freyr's eldest daughter (from his elven marriage, naught from his twin sister of Vanaheim) became of age, she was to wed a Prince of Asgard. The Prince that would not become king of his homeland Asgard, would become betrothed to the Princess of Alfheim and in time would become King and husband to Freyr's heir ... Arraya.
This story takes place after it had been announced that Odin proclaims Thor to become his successor and future King of Asgard.

A tale sought to be as old as time. A story told around a campfire as the children eagerly leaned in, hungry for the next plot. The story of young gods that commanded the winds and tides, that wove your fate and destiny; gods that rode into battle on the backs of mighty steads, axe in hand, and shield in the other. A story of thunder and lightning, and snakes that writhed through tall grass. A story of love. Asgard and Vanaheim. Two sister realms of the World Tree, Yggdrasil. Both realms raged war for centuries over a long forgotten matter. Thousands killed, cities laid to waste. From this war, Freya and Iwaldi, rulers of Vanaheim, strike a truce with the All-Father Odin in attempt to finally bring everlasting peace through the Nine Realms. Sigyn, Princess of Vanaheim, and Thor, Son of Odin, are arranged to marry for the sake of their realms. Neither of them want it. Neither of them love each other. The young God of Mischief, however, brews himself a plan. But, with all the bad luck in the nine realms, Loki falls for the young Princess. Young love blossoms like a flower from its bud. Both families are against it and try everything in their power to keep them apart. It's not an ideal match. The silver-tongued Prince cannot be trusted to keep everlasting peace. Whether it be The Norns, nothing can keep them apart in the end. Until a terrible tragedy bestows them and Loki falls from Asgard. (Based on Norse Mythology.)

What if the war that Thor started between Jotunheim and Asgard had been stopped before it started? What if as a result Thor was never banished to Midgard and Loki gained more respect? What if this outcome not only changed the future but also the past? What if all this happened, because of one change? Following Loki's perspective, we find ourselves in the setting of the first Thor movie, with one key difference. Jotunheim is not ruled by King Laufey, but instead by an unknown Queen. When Thor's reckless action that originally would have started an all-out war between the realm of Jotunheim and Asgard does not have the same results, the fate of both realms is forever altered. As history suddenly takes a dramatic turn, Loki, the prince of Asgard who is often overshadowed by his brother Thor, suddenly gains more recognition and praise from his parents, King Odin and Queen Frigga, as he takes the initiative in this new peace with the Frost Giants, while Thor grows resentful of being in the shadows for the first time. When the new ruler of Jotunheim, a powerful and mysterious queen, reveals herself from hiding, it creates a shift in the dynamics between the Asgardians and Frost Giants. This new Queen might hold the key to both the future and the past, and as doors to new possibilities and diplomacy are open, long-forgotten secrets and buried truths begin to surface, threatening not only to shatter the illusions of peace and stability but also the trust and bond between Loki and his family. In this world of trust and betrayal, lies and truth, peace and war, Loki must navigate the fragile balance between his own desires and the fate of the realms, and as new alliances are made and old enemies resurface, Loki will find himself on a journey of self-discovery that will force him to face the twisted story between Asgard and Jotunheim and his true identity. "I am Princess Freya Odinsdottir of Asgard." "Okay, so there are three gods here?" "Yes." "I wasn't trained for this." The Royal family of Asgard always had issues they varied from a mere scandal to secrets that generations were forced to keep. Even Freya Odinsdottir had her secrets, like a certain love not even her cousin had been allowed to know about. Needles to say, when a secret came to light, the family changed forever.
