Matt and Gianna have been best friends for as long as anyone could remember. Suddenly, Matt's parents begin to drive him out of town for a week or two at a time, and each time Matt comes back, he seems more distant than the last- and Gianna is dying to know what is happening to her best friend. But whenever she asks him about it, he either shrugs it off or changes the subject. Will Gianna ever figure out where Matt is being taken? If she does, will she be putting her life in danger? Or maybe someone else's?
