"Curse this wretched dress!" I growled as I managed to get it stuck on a branch. I yanked it back and I heard a tearing noise. "You have got to be kidding me" I sighed, a tear taking black at the bottom of my dress. "Looks like someone is having trouble. May I ask, why you're on my island?" She imagines that there is a whole world out there that she hasn't discovered, always longing for adventure. Her best friend Caleb and her favourite book seem to be her only supply of happiness in this world. A mysterious shadow attempts to abduct Caleb one night, Evelyn saves him, but will her courage doom her fate as she wakes up on a mysterious island? Facing the demon himself, will she be able to escape his treacherous grasp, or will she realise that there is more to him that meets the eye? ~~ My soul was suddenly devoid of all emotions other than anger. I just kept looking at him, there was nothing else for me to do. "My lost girl" he said and took his hand from under my chin, letting my head drop slightly. -- "I don't need to conquer the world." he scrutinized me with that wicked grin, a fire spreading through his gaze. "Having you means I already have." "I am not yours to conquer." I fought a smile as I turned around to walk away. Instantly he grabbed me by my arm and spun me around, pulling me into his body, leaving only inches between our faces. I was sure he could feel my heartbeat as I let out a breath. -- "Get up and fight."

Pan let the silence hang in the tent between them, you could have cut the tension with a butter knife. "You think I've enchanted you into falling for me?
