Maximillian is hounded in the night by the hellish memories of a War long passed and images of the monster he became to fight it. In the daylight hours he is set upon by well meaning family members, friends and court officials. All who seem to think the same thing will cure him of his nighttime maldy. A wife.
Sabion is pursued night and day by the phantom of a life long dead and buried. Visions of her death still flash before her eyes as she struggles through the minefield of the land of polite society that she has been adopted into.
