Nineteen year old Daniel is just trying to live his life, working an average job to make ends meet in Alaska's largest city while attending the local college. But all that is rendered meaningless when a meteorite smashes into the planet, plunging our world into an apocalyptic winter and crushing civilization as we know it. As each new day brings less sunlight and more cold, Daniel is forced to watch the people around him die one by one: some from cold, some from starvation, and some from each other.

《 Highest Ranking: #5 in Vampire 》 "Is that Marcus? Marcus as in, from our High School Marcus!" Casey squeaked. I spun around, not quite believing her, but there he was. He strode through the school like he owned it and my god, he could've. He'd changed over the four years he'd been gone. It was like god himself had carved him from a statue. His cheekbones could cut a finger and a jaw that could slice a hand. He was taller, more muscular. He looked nothing like the boy that went away. He wore a blacket jacket and ripped jeans, his grey eyes studied the school as every female studied him. Suddenly, they slipped past every other person's eyes and landed on mine. No surprise etched his face, it was like he didn't recognise me. Until I saw the corner of his mouth lift up. ~~ Best friends, Diana and Marcus planned to do everything together. They would go to college and live in the same dorm room, they would always be best friends. But, Marcus went away. Without expecting him to return, Diana uses her heartbreak to change her life. She becomes popular in college.. Then one day, he shows up. But he's changed, he's darker, more silent and definitely a lot more hotter. He'd grown taller, his face sharper and he drew eyes from every woman on campus, even the guys. He spoke to no one and didn't even acknowledge her until she spoke to him. But something was very off. Very off, indeed. Cover Design: @newsies- Copyright @tavanalee No Rights Reserved 2018

    A Freak of Science
(FIRST DRAFT, INCOMPLETE BUT FINISHED) She used to be normal-until now. Accepting to be a subject for a 'minor science experiment' for a large amount of money is a grave mistake for the Durand family. Now Cecil Durand is coping with unnatural abilities and the burden of trying to hide the fact that she's a complete freak of science in the town of Grimsby. But without the hindrance of money problems, the Durands move to big city Toronto in hopes of a better life-and the lesser chance of someone finding out Cecil's supernatural callings. They never expected things to get worse as Cecil is targeted by a villainous character and his organization for her unnatural skills. They never guessed that she would become the apple's eye of said villain that would do anything to have her-even destroy the one boy she cares about who doesn't think she's a freak with her supernatural abilities. Along with that, Cecil isn't the only science subject and not all have been lucky to escape with their lives or their sanity... *THIS STORY IS UNDERGOING CONSTRUCTION BEFORE A NEW PART IS POSTED. The Darkness in the Light
    The Darkness in the Light
For over a hundred years, humanity has lived in fear of the monsters that roam the streets, lurking in the drains below. Women and their daughters hide, protected in their homes, while men take their sons through the world, teaching them the responsibilities of having a family to feed and dangers to avoid. No one leaves the home unless it's essential, and most of the world prefers it that way. Until one girl spends her days perched on her window seat, looking down at the world below and dreaming of a different life. Her eyes are always drawn to the dark, ominous drains in the street, the ones that often blink open to swallow and person whole. One day, that person is her little brother, snatched right in front of her from their arms of their father and gone forever. When a person is snatched, they never return, and life goes on without them. But she can't accept that. Breaking all the rules, all the things she's ever known, she braves the world outside her little townhouse and goes on a mission into the darkness to find her brother. Only, it's soon her that becomes the one lost to the drains. To survive she must rediscover her world, and in the process, rediscover herself. She will be reunited with old friends, gain new ones, find out deeper secrets about her past than she ever could have imagined, and learn that the world is even more corrupt than she always thought. *** This story contains sexist ideology, mention of cheating, some gruesome scenes, and a whole lot of monsters and darkness. It isn't overly mature... there isn't much explicit language or sexual scenes, but there is a bit of violence, so just keep that in mind... and despite all that negativity, ENJOY!

  • As the Empire Began to Fall
As the Empire Began to Fall
Being neurodivergent, maybe, kind-of queer (she doesn't know yet), and adopted without a single other girl in her house, fifteen year old Star has enough problems on her plate. Being in high school is hard enough, but when she starts displaying freakishly supernatural strength, it gets a lot worse. Then, right at the epitome of a prevailing identity crisis, shit hits the fan, and Star's country is invaded by a violent, weirdly religious nation called Callila, who seems particularly hellbent on taking over the entire continent for their god. Star and her friends are dragged out of their safe, loving world by their ankles and thrust into one full of deceit, barely concealed sexism and homophobia, and superiority complexes rooted in classism. Star learns that she has an alleged relation to a long dead court noble she couldn't care less about and meets Arlen, an enigmatic, if slightly annoying, prince who seems hellbent on protecting her from the true evilness that lurks around her while helping her hone her new found strength, which is slowly but steadily creeping out of control. But as time continues to pass and tensions grow higher, Star hears whispers about a growing rebellion that could dissolve the current monarchy and bring her back home. She decides to help, along with her friends, and begins to realize that being young does not exclude her from the horrors of war, and she is faced with the fact that even if she is able to return home, nothing-not even her-will ever be the same. *Basically, a YA novel with teenagers being teenagers, more gay, more diversity, a lot more swearing, and darker humor. Something I'm writing for fun. Give it a shot if you so wish.

The Sunshine Line // Book 1: "Run"
When Mila Jones was a kid, she was scared of thunderstorms. Turns out, it was more than an irrational fear: A few months after her fifteenth birthday, her best friend Kevin gets struck by lightning and happens to be a Prophet of the Lord. The plan is to figure out what that meant and be home before dinner, but that's not how it works- once you're in, you never get out. This is the first part of a multiple series rewrite of "The Supernatural Chronicles", a fanfiction from one of my old accounts. The main character is my OC Mila Jones, apart from that all characters I made up are just there to fill the gaps. // CAUTION: This book has mature themes, as you would see in Supernatural //
