In the aftermath of a techno-revolution gone horribly wrong, Danny Cheshire and her friends are only some of the remnants of society traversing the land trying to survive. The only thing that separates them from the common travelers is the same thing that they're being hunted down for: special implanted chips that allow them to travel through wires. Between rabid robot dogs and a bounty on the wire-jumper's heads, every day is a dance with death. Their only chance of long-term survival lies in rumors of an outpost in Nevada where they will all be safe... they just have to find it.

In the future science had engineered an entirely unique gaming system. Therefore, you could enter the game as yourself. You felt pain, hunger and such with your nervous system uploaded. But once you die, game over, you harmlessly return to the real world. Whether in an Arcade, bedroom or such, the game can be activated with nothing but a computer and wiring system. This time something goes wrong, a glitch in the server. So, entering this dangerous glitch provided that whenever it's "Game Over.", it's game over in the real world as well. Will these individuals have what it takes to survive while scientists work to revive them from the database?
