--- Brief Preview: Aiko Tsukado is a 17 year boy of Japanese origin. He's 5'2 and he lives in the vast city of Tokyo, a small guy in a big world. One day, he stumbles across this tall boy with a big heart and a sweet soul. His name was Haru Yamatoyo. Aiko, being a love fanatic felt love for the first time in his life the moment they met. Aiko had always hoped he'd find love and suddenly, there was Haru, standing at a height of 5'11, and truly stunning in every way. It was almost too good to be true. Aiko goes home later that day and thinks about how much he loves Haru with all his heart. It's all pure bliss until Haru thinks 'but does he like me back?' Aiko's mind immediately goes to 'no. Of course not!!' Aiko feels a sensation throughout his throat as if I spider is tearing away from it. He lets out a gagging cough and looks down to see... primrose petals..? --- About the Book: The main thing in this book is the Hanahaki disease; a disease caused when your love is only one sided. This disease ends when the victim stops loving their true love and/or dies in the process. Side effects of the disease include: Flowers sprouting from limbs, Throwing up petals, etc. Watch Haru on his journey through the treacherous decisions this disease holds him to and to see if his true love, Aiko, really does like him back. Why use violence when we can solve it in thru talking?" The three sit down, their eyes are lifeless. There's no resemblance between the previous one and the current one. "Shall we talk?" New developers are buying buildings and demolishing them left and right as owners can't afford inflated rent. The symbol of this erasure is a giant, modern hotel that went up three months ago. Nearby, the little coffee shop and micro live house French Cup is struggling to survive. New owners, two drag queen best friends, bought the business after their mentor and former owner of the shop passed away three years ago. Serving Starbucks dupes and fresh French pastries, it serves as a community center for the often closeted LGBTQ community to gather, offering drag hostessed Bingo nights and showcasing local and LGBTQ live acts on a small stage. When a new and handsome face shows up at French Cup, he's immediate news. The two best friends compete for his eyes at first, but when they find out he is to begin work at the new hotel monstrosity and is from the foreign corporation that built it, controversy spreads in the neighborhood. Worries launch into distress calls, and the neighborhood association is in an uproar. As more businesses fall, a Romeo and Juliet flavored love forms, and the two sides must come to a favorable conclusion or go to war. Note: this book is rated Mature due to the kind of jokes in the book. There are no other kinds of adult situations.Complete
