Being an aspiring gossip journalist introduces you to all kinds of people; the rich and famous being the main focus of attraction. Alex Evans is a tomboy and frankly, celebrities don't interest her all that much.

When she is forced to interview world famous pop-sensations of One Direction, she realizes that maybe her journalism career isn't what it's all cracked up to be.

Interviewing One Direction would have been any other girls' wildest dream... but not Alex's though. She doesn't know them, and she couldn't care less about them.

But time can change the best of people.

When One Direction come walking into her interview, she isn't exactly ecstatic. However, the saying goes opposites always attract. Could this be the case for Alex and the boys of One Direction?

"Why do you keep pretending you're afraid of me?" He hissed, obvious anger in his eyes. "Because Louis; if I'm not afraid of you I'll end up loving you!" I shouted. "And that means I'll get hurt...because that's just the way you are!" I said, hoping he would correct me. "You're right." He said simply after a long pause. "You're right." She was new; he was jaded. She was oblivious; he knew all too well. She was innocent; he was everything but. And anyone who looked at the two would know just how wrong they were together. Yet there was no denying the obvious fire that seemed to heat every time they were near each other. This isn't the typical "boy loves girl- they fall in love" etc. etc. This is about heart wrenching confessions, breath taking encounters, love shattering secrets, and two people who so desperately want to know just what love is.
