Tears streamed down my face as I sat on my bed. I could feel the bruises forming on my body. The blood trickling from the gash on my head. I sobbed softly into my knees. So my father didn't hear me. I couldn't take another beating. My window flew open from the gust of wind, blowing my curtains inside. I stood and walked to my window. A slip of paper laid on the sill. I opened it up 'Say you believe'. "I believe." I whispered. The room swirled around and everything fell to the ground. A black shadow appeared. It's eyes glowing at me. It reached its hand out for me. I took it and we flew out the window. I screamed as I looked to the ground below us. We flew higher and higher. A flash of white blinding light. Pan let the silence hang in the tent between them, you could have cut the tension with a butter knife. "You think I've enchanted you into falling for me? Oh Pan, if you're attracted to me, you've done that all by yourself.". Those were the only words Pan needed to send him crashing over the edge of sanity.
