What if the adults left you?
What if we are their lab experiments?
What if we are meant to die?

After the adults had left those under the age of twenty one, we are left alone. The adults, grouped us into groups and assigned us to different parts of the world. Of course, the other groups can't meet the other.
Vivian, sixteen years old, is in Group 072. Grouped up with the other seven, has to find a way to get out of this mess, for children are meant to be safe.
Adults plan such to make the left ones suffer. They put creatures in, changed atmospheres.
It's up to the left ones to survive this, to stand up against the adults.

What happens if chemical warfare kills all but those under the age of 18 and the immortals? Then think what would happen if the chemical bombs cause some to develop powers such as telekinesis. But, others are not so lucky. Sure, they all survive, but some purely become what is commonly known as 'The Things' as they act on nothing more or less than pure animal instinct. All around the world people fractionalize to local 'territories'. Territory 14- based in Birmingham, England- is one of thirteen territories based around the world. Although all are different, both culturally and with the distribution of wealth, there is one thing they all have in common: they sure as hell don't trust each other. And, as people turn on each other Cindy and Adam realise that maybe the war they were fighting was not as clear cut as they previously thought. Coming across 14-year-old Juan, a Chinese operative from Territory 8, they realise that the other side are just the same as them. But, this realisation comes at a cost as they are rejected from their warehouse, which is in the centre of the territory's operations, and become the focus of a man hunt in the place they once felt safe. On a mission to solve the mystery of Ralph's schemes and on the run in Territory 14 Cindy and Adam are in for a whole world of trials and tribulations- and the odds just keep stacking against them. This story is now complete. However, please remember that this is a first draft and likely to contain errors. I just wanted this story to see the light of day rather than hiding in a graveyard of word documents on my laptop.

In the quiet desert village of Dey, living among the sand dunes and mirages, existed an anomaly - me. I was different, born without the ability to read, write or keep long memories. My scientist father hailed my uniqueness as a miracle, but my life was far from ordinary. To the village, I was just an oddity, a walking puzzle with missing pieces. My only solace was my best friend, always standing by me, his unspoken love for me etched in his affectionate gaze. We lived under a cruel regime with a population no more than a hundred. Every year, one of us would be chosen on the Counting Day, a ceremonious banishing ritual, to become yet another outcast to the floating prison island far off in the ocean - our village's dreaded version of population control. Our past criminals, defiant to government, and more terrifyingly, our loved ones gone missing, were thought to inhabit that island, their fate, a terrifying enigma. This year, as the Counting Day approached unrelentingly, and my loved one's life rested on borrowed time, I made a decision. I volunteered to be casted out. It was my turn to face the unknown with a hidden purpose - to locate my lost father who was sent there years ago.
