Love. The word is completely foreign to Kaylee Adams.
God. Even more foreign.

Kaylee's life is what most would consider undesirable. When Kaylee was only twelve years old, her mother died in a tragic car accident- leaving her all alone with her stepfather. When Kaylee was only fourteen years old, she was beaten up by the said stepfather. When Kaylee was sixteen, she was sexually assaulted by her stepfather. When Kaylee was seventeen, she was betrayed by the only person she thought she could trust.

Undesirable couldn't even begin to describe it. 

But then comes in Luke Foster, who's unlike anyone she had ever met. He's nice, caring, and genuine. And above all he's a Jesus follower. 

Follow Kaylee on her journey to redemption, forgiveness, and endless love.

The world was full of trouble. Full of confusion and a catastrophic dilemma. One couldn't imagine at what destructive measure it would disintegrate into. While so many things were done to make the world a better place. At some point, it would later be revealed that the biggest problem was not a lack of educational facilities or a lack of health facilities. Believe it or not, Africa, also wasn't the world's biggest problem. The problem with the world today is sin. Sin brought about problems that would perpetuate into many more generations to come! It's almost unbelievable that someone would leave greener pastures to settle in a beat-down environment like Earth. One would wonder what this being could ever want. If life existed beyond the surfaces of our universe, why stay? If there was the possibility of walking with a glory that outshined the brightness of the sun, why hesitate? God cannot love us anymore than He loves our neighbor. His love tank is so vast that it accommodates everyone. Had He only sent Jesus Christ to the rich or the poor in African households, His love would then be conditioned to those that qualified. What makes His love so unique and strange is that He loves the broken and the sinners. He loves those of us that are unlikeable and unattractive. He persuaded His only son to die gruesomely to have all of mankind at His bosom. In the movies, opening doors and buying a bouquet of flowers is symbolic of love. In families, love is expressed in many different kind of forms. Even animals have ways in which they show affection. While all of that might stand out. It cannot be compared to the love of God. God can feel love, and He is love!

Love is strange. It exists in many forms and is one of the key components that makes humans happy, but there isn't a lot of understanding surrounding it. At least not the kind of understanding with which the average person identifies. Agnes is one of the few people that can accept all kinds of love. Despite her dated name, she is a woman in her late 20's dealing with the death of most of her family. She's now stuck in the middle of figuring out how to raise children that she never saw in her future and deciding what love means for her, when it has to exist within layer upon layer of complication. She let go of her boyfriend after almost a decade because their love wasn't meant to exist under the strain of children, only to find herself confronted with the overpowering connection of her old high school sweetheart. The same man she ran away from because their values hardly aligned when it came to how love should be expressed long term. Within the midst of learning how to raise children and balance her ever-building career, Agnes tries to recover from her mother's death, seek comfort without complicating her circumstance, and figure out why her mother would name her Agnes. He replied. 14-year old, Kayla Grace. Everyone knows her name. No, she's not the popular one. To everyone she is a waste of time and doesn't matter in any part of the world. All Kayla wants to do is fit it and be well liked. When she comes across Jackson Limkie, her life will take a drastic change. Then, something occurs that will change not only Kayla's life, but everyone else's. Kayla ends up in a coma after a tragic accident that did not occur in a car. Now that she is at home and back to school everything is too much for her to handle. Kayla tries to commit suicide and then is forced to move out of her house. It's all a roller coaster from there.

Soon, he meets Kimmy, a quiet, mute kid who reminds him so much of his childhood best friend and is afraid there's more going on than what's on the surface. But as Kimmy slowly opens up, he learns she's just a sensitive soul like him, carrying a burden she shouldn't have to carry. (This is a realistic-as-possible story while still being fictional about foster care and the kids who are placed in care. I have both researched how things for the state of Arizona's Department of Children's Services are handled and from foster parents on YouTube)

Book Two in the Grace Series. This can most certainly be read as a standalone, but I would recommend reading Grace first (and Something New before or after).
