Only a few weeks after the defeat of Loki at the Battle of New York, Clint Barton is sent on a mission to kill a young girl from an orphanage, without any real explanation. All Fury would say was that she was a powerful threat. But for the second time in his career, will Barton make a 'different call'?

Anala-Salila was a girl banished from her home world, Xaslilia, at the age of eight. She has power over both Fire and Water, but she is sent away to Earth with no understanding of how to control her gifts, much less fulfill the prophecy foretold for her.

S.H.I.E.L.D knows of her untamed gifts, but nothing else. They have kept watch over her in secret for the past four years that she has been on Earth, but finally decided she was too much of a threat to the world they strive to protect, thus they sent in Clint Barton. But the Avengers have different plans. Will they be able to help this abandoned girl, before she destroys herself?
