An exploration into why I write, and what I write about.
I love writing about emotions, and people, and beauty. I've found that, while some poets write excessively of the stars, or compare their poems to fire, I feel like I am one of the poets who sees poetry as an ocean -- ironic, as I don't particularly like water, haha! It's a nice metaphor though -- the silence, the drowning, the storms, and especially the pressure. It...makes sense to me.

Full of poems that I've written, am writing, will write. Maybe mostly about life and others are deep stuff and more... Some are happy and some are sad/dark. Some poem(s) I wrote about or related to a book/movie.etc. Others I wrote as a story in poem form. *checked my old poems recently and GORE, HORROR, BLOOD ALERT for some of the poems near the beginning!! SO maybe best to read my poems from bottom to the top if you mind the stuff^^^ *I think the more recent poems are quite different from the older ones. Beneath The Light of a Dying Star
In these pages, the world is both light and heavy-sometimes in the same breath. This is a catch-call collection of my own poetry, prose and/or lyrics that I've accumulated over the years that I related to and enjoyed writing and re-writing.
