It's hot. It's new. It's sexy. Kristen Haynes has just moved to town of Macon in Georgia. She's one of those hot mess girls you would never associate yourself with. Well, that's hardly what's going on. It's all the rage of Macon. Sex scandals, drama, and love. What's more important in high school? He's just that average bad boy. There's nothing worth considering, yesterday's news. He doesn't drink or do drugs. He plays. What game might you ask? For now, we'll describe it as the game of sexes. He's not rude, not trashy. Why is he a 'bad boy'? Well, an ego can stroke a lot in a person. It's just your average, stereotypical guy. Nothing special, hardly noticed in halls. He's not a bad boy, a nerd, or jock. He's just average. What is it that makes him so interesting? What hand could he possibly play in this? He's a nobody. The events of Beacon Heights High School are just the latest drama. Everybody in the city of Macon and surrounding areas are begging to get a glimpse at the newest gossip.

Josie: I found a guy, he seemed nice enough, we fooled around! It's not my fault that he didn't tell me he had a girlfriend! How would I have known it was the bitchy blonde, Tatum Levine's boyfriend?! I thought we'd never have to talk again after she understandably kicked me out, but of course the world hates me, because we are partnered together for a group project. Tatum: It's not her fault, not really, but she unintentionally is the proof I needed to confirm nobody stays. Not really. They might still be in my life but they're already gone. Even the boyfriend, my last test to see if people really stayed, failed. And now I have Josie, the most annoying, talkative girl in my class, following me around like a leech. The worst part? I'm beginning to like being around her, and now, I have to keep reminding myself that she is not an exception. She'll leave, too.
