A Trophy Father

Is it true what people say. When they tell you that you are good enough. When they say they love you. When they tell you that there is more to do in life than to sit around. When they say that you will do great things when you get older or when they say that family is supposed to be a mother, father, and their children. Or that when you get married you will have a happily ever after. But why do people that when it's not true. Is it true when your father tells you he will never leave you no matter what and that if he does he will always come back for you.

Well I for a fact know that what people say isn't true. My father never called me after he left 12 years ago. When he said that he had to travel for his job. But at the time how was I supposed to know that my father is the one the only........
