Just one night. That's all it took to flip Skylar's life around.
She never knew her family and has been living at an orphanage for as long as she could remember. That all changed when she woke up in a clearing covered in blood and now she's on the run. 'watch out humans, there's a Reaper in town. try not to die!' ---- prologue "Mitch we have to leave!" Annabelle yelped, holding a baby girl with black hair and blue eyes in her arms. "leave! go somewhere safe!" Mitch said, pulling a knife out of his leg. they were fleeing from the townspeople who had lit their house on fire screaming; "be gone evil demons!" all the couple wanted was to be able to live like normal humans, but atlass that was impossible.
