According to legend, kelpies are aquatic horses. They wander along the riverbank and trick humans into riding them. After giving the unfortunate mortal a terrifying ride, the kelpie will drown them in the river and eat them. Alicia Deltroy is one of these aquatic horses, but she's different from other kelpies. She's managed to lead a normal life that begins to fall apart after her parents are brutally murdered. However, when four gorgeous boys come to school, they begin to break down the barriers she's set around her heart since the death of her parents. Only one problem: The boys are hunters, elite humans who track down and kill dangerous magical creatures. And just when things begin to settle down, she finds a baby unicorn whose herd has been massacred by werewolves. Slowly, she finds that life is far more complicated than it seems, and that just when you think all is well, death is right around the corner.

Captain Kieran Crowe fears nothing-not the gallows, not the navy, not the sea itself. But when his hunt for treasure drives The Iron Serpent into siren waters, he meets a fate no blade can fight. He encounters the daughter of the siren queen, her voice a lullaby that lures men to their doom. Yet when her coven drags Crowe's crew beneath the waves, she spares him. Predator and prey clash on a forsaken shore-his defiance against her hunger, her song against his will-until something deeper binds them. Their love is violent, impossible, undeniable. Together they defy sea and shore, fighting witches, mutiny, and curses that would tear them apart. But the sea does not forgive, and every joy comes shadowed by loss. From black-sailed raids to London's gray streets, theirs is a bond that scars, burns, and endures. And when death finally claims them, pirate and siren are reunited on a silver shore, the Iron Serpent reborn beneath eternal skies. A tale of ruin and salvation, of storm and tide. Love was never gentle for them-yet it was forever. ⛔️Trigger Warnings ⚠️‼️ This story contains mature and potentially distressing content, including: Violence & Death: graphic descriptions of battle, drowning, mutilation, and death.
