Ashton Irwin was one of the best students in school, not by his choice, but because his parents forced him to get good grades. They wouldn't let him eat, sleep or do anything until he got the best grade he could. Luke wanted to make the soccer team more than anything, and he did. But in doing so, he was pressured to be a mean, typical jock. Luke didn't like bullying anyone at all, but he wanted to fit in.

Ashton had always noticed Luke. He had a crush on the blonde haired, blue eyed boy since seventh grade. They didn't ever talk, but Ashton admired Luke.

Luke noticed Ashton noticing him and wondered why. Why the smart, pretty boy with the glasses was noticing him. Luke wasn't anything special.
