"If you had a chance to go back and change everything, would you do it? Would you go back and give us just one more yesterday?"
"Things wouldn't have ended up any differently. I knew what a mess I had gotten myself into the second I kissed you," she told him and this time it was his turn to flinch.
"Then why did you kiss me in the first place?" he asked giving her a look full of pain and maybe even disgust. But no trace of regret.
"Because it's hard, Aiden. It's hard to see the book with the prettiest cover and not read it. Who knew it had the saddest ending?" she muttered daring to look into his brown eyes just barely meeting his stare.
He reached into her sweater pocket and pulled the cassette out from under her reach with one of his cold hands. He looked at the cassette and then looked back up at her.
"I guess this means our story is over," he says giving Isabelle one last glance before throwing the cassette out into the cold running stream. The second it left his hands she knew she had given him the wrong answer.
If she had known the real ending to this story she would have changed it all. She would have traded all of her tomorrows for just one more yesterday with him.
Who knew that getting over a boy was one sad playlist away?

***This is a rough draft*** please read and leave comments. They would be extremely helpful. Aiden Phillips is a high school kid who struggles with depression and anxiety. Due to having a terrible memory, Aiden decided to write in journals about his daily struggles, his longing for a better life, and breakthroughs that he accomplishes throughout the story. Aiden loves to sing and Write his own music. He is good at the piano but his love is the old guitar that his Gramps gave him years ago. Aiden has one younger brother named Caleb, which is the normal typical annoying brother. Aiden has a girlfriend named Tessa who lives about an hour away from him who he longs to marry. Throughout the story, Aiden struggles to move on through each day, as days turn into night and night into day, he finds himself growing colder towards his father. Who is the towns hero practically. everybody loves the star football coach, Josh Phillips. Things aren't what they seem behind doors though, their father tends to be abusive. Verbal and physical. Aiden can choose to live with his mom but chooses not to because he wants to protect his brother who can't choose yet. As Aiden dives deeper into his fathers unknown past, he uncovers more and more details about his father's past. As he continues to dive deeper, the tension grows heavier. Through out the story, Aiden finds himself digging through old journals, trying to remember certain things. Can Aiden solve the mystery of his father's behavior and show the world the true nature of his father or will he choose to shrink down to nothing and continue to struggle?Complete

"I walked over to where Aaron was sitting on the ground, kneeling so that I was face-to-face with him. He was wearing a blank expression on his face so I guess he didn't really care if I kissed him or not. I took in a deep breath before taking his face in both of my hands and swooping down to kiss him. At first, I was so nervous I didn't realize that we were already kissing but after a few moments, I realized how soft his lips felt on my own. Before I can register it I felt him moving against me. He has average looks, he is OK with sports, and his only strong point is that he is smart (although that doesn't mean much to his fellow classmates). She was the most beautiful girl you will ever meet. Kind, sweet, and one of the few people with a higher GPA then him, she was amazing and Aiden imagined that she would be all his. The man is smoking hot and makes Aiden's dreams of getting the girl to seem very impossible. So what would happen if Aiden gets involved with the wrong person? Will Aiden get the girl? He turned me around and this time I was facing him, our eyes met and I couldn't deny it, it felt great to be in his arms. His eyes lowered and fell on my lips. Before I could even say my name, he kisses me. My eyes widened in shocked but I gave in and wrapped my arms around his neck, closing my eyes. God damn!his lips are soft. It was slow and gentle, his hands moved to my face as he increased the pace. My hands moved to his soft black hair. God! I've always wanted to touch it I let out a moan and he slipped his tongue in making the kiss hotter. It was the best feeling on earth. We both pulled away at the same time, panting.
