"I can see for miles. I can't see exactly where I am, now, or ten years from now. But right here, in this moment, I can see for thousands of miles, with you." --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Melanie Weston was the odd one out in her cheer squad. Parker Bailey was the "new guy" that every one stayed away from. It was never thought that these two would have known each other, and even less likely that they would have liked each other two years ago, after meeting one fateful summer. But it happened. So what happens when the two meet again, not on the best of terms, in her high school cafeteria, with Parker totally changed and hiding things and Melanie unsure what's happening? Nothing that would happen everyday.

"Is it still a no?" He asked, his voice was deep yet soft at the same time. "Hard and cold." "Oh, come on, Lou! Live a little. I can be your tour guide and show you around town. It'll be fun!" "And why not after school or in the weekend?" "Because there's no thrill to it. Please, Louisa." He asked again. I sighed. "What's in it for me, Liam?" He chuckled. "You get to spend time with me! Liam Gilbert, your tour guide, the guy you come to when you don't want to study!" "Let's make a deal," I smirked, "if I ditch with you then you have to study with me." He looked unsure and I knew he didn't want to. I shrugged. "Okay, I'll see you at home." He moaned. "Fine, but you have to ditch me right now." My face lit up like a Christmas tree and I was truly surprised. "Okay, let's go." * There are a few rules when it comes to ditching class. Rule number one: Don't tell anyone. The teachers, your siblings, your parents. Rule number two: If anybody asks where you were, always say you were sick and rule number three is to have fun. Louisa Shepard didn't know what she was getting into when she agreed to ditch school with Liam Gilbert, her host brother. She had the perfect attendance record, she studied in her spare time and she never missed a class a day in her life. Until she went to America in exchange and met Liam, the guy she could not get away from. Liam did not care about school. He ditched most days, slept in, never studied for anything and his attendance record wasn't exactly great. When Liam finds out that Louisa, the British good girl, was the perfect student, he wanted to have some fun. But, there comes a price. If Liam wanted Louisa to ditch school then he would have to study with her. Louisa had no idea what she was in for when ditching with Liam and some days, it goes further than just ditching class. Louisa and Liam are just going to have to go the distance if they want to keep up with each other. All Rights Reserved 2017 © Sarahxox_16

I watch her when she walks in, orders the same drink - same size - and sits at the exact same table every single day. I don't think she notices me, seeing as how I'm behind the counter and I'm not the one at the register. But on December 19th, she looked up from her laptop and cup, into my eyes, and smiled. Before the start of senior year, Parker Harding was a closeted lesbian. After the homecoming dance, she was out and she was an outcast. She just had three little problems. Finding a girlfriend to get over her ex and keeping her economics grade up were two of them. The third being her crush on a very straight girl at her high school, the same one that sat in the coffee shop every single day. Parker thought Rebecca was everything she wanted, but people aren't always the way they seem.
