Ariadna es una adolescente que se despega muy seguido de la realidad. Su alocada imaginación la lleva a distraerse en los estudios y su introvertida actitud, a no tener una vida social muy activa. Su hermano mayor Dennis estudia en la universidad y es quien se encarga de mantener a su hermana centrada en la realidad. Sin embargo la noche de su cumpleaños, Ariadna supersticiosamente pide un último deseo como ningún otro; llevándola a conocer a un joven hombre de vestimenta aristócrata quien cambiaría su forma de ver la vida como la conocemos.
