This book is based on ruby rose its a story on an androgynous girl named Rowan who has always addressed her self as a boy due to the fact that puberty refused to hit, everyone at school believes she's a boy even her childhood friend Coal. after being beaten up for years by her father she leaves and then pops up again four years later in New York, this time puberty hit and she accepts her self as female . She finds a job at a multi-million dollar company as a secretary to her surprise she finds out her boss is Coal. will she tell him she his childhood friend rowan or will she keep it a secret, this could be the start to a tricky relationship.
