Prince Maximillian is the younger brother to the Queen, but rarely steps out of his chambers. Breathing in the dust of old portraits, he prefers to quietly paint the world from the shadows. When tasked with painting a young general called Brigand, the brooding silence of the studio is brightened by conversation, but the Prince fears his forbidden desires will be brought to the surface after every brushstroke.
