In this town the werewolves and vampires have shown the humans what they are. This story is about a human who has a mate that is the most powerful and dangerous alpha. Crystal is a human who hates the supernatural since they have shown themselves. Derek is the alpha of the Nightmare pack and he has been searching for his mate. Derek goes to one of the pack’s mating gathering to see if his mate is there. The alpha in Crystal’s town has gathered everyone for a mating gathering including the humans so Crystal has to go. When Crystal gets there and her alpha introduces the other alphas and betas. While Crystal is hanging out with her friends Derek comes over and pulls her away from them.
