Beacon Hills has always been somewhat baleful and overlooked with ignorance; mistaken for a peaceful, safe town. Set in a bubble of cover ups and uncharted cases of the town's washed bloodshed: Nothing ever happened, it seemed, to people. Beacon Hills is referred to the town as small and boring- a cliché unit of stereotypes with the odd car crash, robbery, or people getting emitted to the invoiced mental health facility. The pattern has gotten old and expected. Boring, for lack of better words.

And maybe that's why when there's a report of a murder victim found in the woods, Stiles Stilinski, Cassandra Pythia, and Scott McCall jump at the opportunity for something new and go out searching; ignoring how disturbing their decision truly is. They thought they were ready for anything that night, their boredom diluting their sensible sides, but nothing could have prepared them for the startling revelation that maybe there's more to the town than they thought. And that it may have been safer and would have saved more lives to continue being bored.
