Julia Volkov is the timid, nervous, lost and quiet new student at Allen Court High School. Her parents being close friends with Mr. Jackson, same man as the Principal of this school, she was invited to enroll. It's the first time she's out of country, not to mention out of continent. Afraid of a new culture where people are bullying her because of her apparent soft personality, she has to put up with all kinds of emotions threatening to make her give up. Mr. Jackson, being the kind and caring Principal he is, notices the girl's situation and comes up wiht a brilliant plan to help her out.

Edmond Jackson is the school's creep. He's got that long black hair covering the glasses that keep his eyes completely out of reach, he's got black baggy clothes and all he seems to do is listen to loud music booming in his headphones or study alone in a corner. He doesn't talk to anybody, although other people find it amusing to make fun of him. What they don't know is that he has a double personality and the moment he's out of school, he becomes a bold, flirty party animal. But all his plans to take on his own path go to waste when his dad, the Principal, decides to force him into being Julia's personal guide for a whole year.

Will the European girl manage to creep inside his odd world? Will he help her come out of her shell when he cares so much of his own image staying hidden? Will the two of them develop a friendship, or will it be a continuous fight between them?

And finally, could the two of them discover the feeling they probably didn't even believe in?

Now, I'm editing it, revising some of the names (as well as the scenes and most of the chapters) so it will fall under the category of young adult romance instead of fanfiction. The reason for doing this is for publication purposes in the future. Feel free to imagine the same characters from the original, or think of someone you liked. Louis, Harry, Zayn, Niall, and Liam will always have a special place in my heart. But for inspiration purposes, I now imagine my BTS boys for this story, particularly JK and V! When Jaime - newly high-school-liberated girl- meets Gregg - beautiful college boy - she couldn't be more smitten. He is a dream come true and something about their meeting has the feel of fate. They talk about traveling the world, future ambitions and the importance of family, among other philosophical issues. Jaime thinks she has met her soulmate and can just hear the chords of Pachelbel's Canon ringing in her head. She is beginning to fantasize about their future wedding and what they will name their children when he tells her he is going to Greece for the entire summer. Even worse - he is leaving the very next morning. Jaime finds herself in a romantic funk. After meeting Mr. Right, no boy stands a chance. All around her, summer romance blossoms and it makes her want to puke. When she discovers an acquaintance has a crush on her - a young man who would've been quite cute if it weren't for the unfortunate uni-brow parked on his forehead - she gives into the pressure of her best friend and embarks on an awkward romance, which has an even more awkward ending. Jaime decides she is going to wait for Gregg to get home from Greece, and she's going to make him fall in love with her. She heads into battle armed with her the support of her friends and tons of research on how to make a man fall in love. As time passes and she gets to know him, she realizes that Gregg is less like Mr. Sensitivity and more like Casanova, with his belt of many notches. Dealing with disillusionment is not the best time for another guy to enter the picture, but he does anyway. Joey, her younger brother's red-headed, glasses-wearing best friend, seems like a major pain in the backside - especially when he dethrones Jaime from her reign as Queen of Clue. Underneath his flippant attitude is a charm and wit that eventually convinces Jaime that sometimes, real love comes in the most surprising packages.

Just one problem, her beloved convertible needs a serious overhaul before she can drive it anywhere, and car repairs cost money, a lot of money. The kind of money she doesn't have. Archer Hastings moved to town last year. He's quiet, perpetually brooding, and always has a hood drawn over his head. He's the school outcast, a recluse.
