Annabelle, a 14 year old, lives in a small village in Alaska called, Naknek. Theres only one paved road, one school, a whole lot of snow, and the dangers of bears.
But she also loves the freedom the village gives her. Even though she has freedom, theres not a lot you can do in Naknek.
The town isn't nice and sweet as it looks. Drugs, underage drinking, and suicide runs through the town, and she is in the middle of all of it.
But when a 32 year old man catches her eye, she cant help but take an interest in him. Is it love, or just a crush.
