The world is cruel. The world is dark. The world is cold. Mitch is unable to deny the reality no matter how many excuses he tries to think of. He's convinced- his happy ending will never exist, not with these circumstances. The only thing he can do is try to fake his happiness. After all, that means his friends won't have to worry, and that'll help them get their happy ending, right? Unfortunately, he might not be able to handle what serves as a happy ending for his best friend, Jerome. No, I don't think he can handle any more of that pain.

35 parts Ongoing Mature

A health scare leads to a shocking diagnosis in the DeLuca-Bishop household, throwing their lives into turmoil. As they grapple with this new reality, the wives must navigate the challenges of treatment while eagerly preparing for the arrival of their baby. With tensions running high and emotions at the forefront, the couple faces the ultimate test of their love and resilience. TW: cancer fic - I would advise not to read if this topic is something that is sensitive for you. This is a fic I previously posted on AO3 but have now added here. This was also originally done in two parts/stories but I am just going to add it all as one on here. Please Note: I am not medical professional so there is likely medical inaccuracies throughout this story. It's all fiction.
