Have you ever heard the stereotype that all preachers kids are bad behaved and wild because of their strict home? Or the one that a preachers kid is a goody two shoes who does exactly what he or she is meant to do? Well the second one is Jennifer's life. Her father is a well known preacher in their community and her mother is the treasurer of the church, to say Jennifer has no freedom is an understatement. And to make things worse, she is twenty years old and is just starting college this year.
Will Jennifer be able to branch out once her only real friend Novae Brown comes to the same college as her? Or will Jennifer's parents find a way to shelter her even more?
