This is the story about a girl who's life was destroyed in a second. She realises what she had before was practically perfect but she can't have it back as she watches her world crumble to pieces around her.
Eva Rodgers is 17 when it happens, the event that changes her life. She doesn't know who did it or why, and even just the mention of that night makes her feel physical pain.
Not only does it affect her, her whole family is put through hell in an effort to survive and the weak are separated from the strong in harsh manners...
