Sylvia Slytherin is the direct pureblood relative of Salazar Slythrin. Unknown to this, she has been raised by muggle parents for the first fifteen years of her life. But while she may not suspect it, she has far more thing in common with the Dark Lord than anyone would have guessed. Not much is known of her true parents, only that her mother (knowing she would) died shortly after giving birth to Sylvia, dying in the arms of a kind muggle woman working at the orphanage. Sylvia was taken in by the woman from the orphanage who couldn't conceive with her husband - therefore hiding the child from the Wizarding World. But all that changes when the Ministry of Magic look into the Slytherin linage discovering who Sylvia really is, and enroll her into what is meant to be her fifth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
