Magi is just your average orphan, abandoned by her parents and hopelessly lost in the world. When one Winter afternoon, she is approached by the Time Agent, Peter Vallion, who not only knows who her parents are but how to travel into the future to get them back.

... "To the future? Don't be ridiculous" Magi said shortly, standing up "Time travel doesn't exist! It's impossible."
Settling back into his chair, Peter just smiled "Of course it does, if only you are taught how to Jump"
Ignoring him and his strange choice of words, Magi slung her bag onto her back and made for the door.
Peter stood and turned to her, lighting his cigar he spoke his next words slowly "Aren't you interested in why I told you this?" Magi paused, and taking this as a hint, Peter continued
"Aren't you interested in learning about your past, your future and...
your parents?"
