It was the start of a 6th grade school year for 11-year old Lily, and she was very excited. She was excited because she would finally get to see the person she liked. But as far as she knew they didn't like her. Therefore, she was very sad. In fact every time they even came close to talking they would always run away. It soon became a routine for Lily, that had been going since 5th grade. Every time she came home she was asked the same question "How was your day at school today?" and she'd always reply "It was fine". But as soon as she went to her room she closed the door. Then, she slid down the door, and she put her head between her knees, and she started crying.
