"I am like a sunflower," I say.

"And how is that?" he asked holding back tears.

"All the time, the sun beats on me and wears me out, until night comes and saves me," I say.

He looks confused.

"Shawn your the sun, you do that to me," I say quietly

"Or the sun helps you with the things you need," he replies.

I don't answer. I just run.

Alright I know ALL flowers get SUNSHINE and such, and I understand that the sun HELPS the flowers, and the girls (Kendra) reference is untrue, hence Shawn's point. And you'll understand sooner or later why I picked SUNFLOWER out of all the flowers that exist.
