Leandrios Petrovious has always been good at fighting his way out of tough situations. He became so good at it that he fought his way to the International Championship for Professional Fighters, only losing once in his entire career. Before claiming the title of International Champion, however, Leandrios would have to face the same opponent once again: the undefeated cyborg. The last match that stood between him and the grand prize that could secure his future forever.

He lost. Now, deserted by his team, Leandrios wanders as muscle for hire, never imagining just who this new occupation might attract. When he agrees to protect a woman as she travels to an undisclosed destination, he soon realizes she isn't any normal citizen as known killers start popping up along their way. He didn't sign up for this. But can he abandon her and hope for the best, or will his conscience win out and get him killed?

When Mandy loses her job, she thinks she’s hit rock bottom – until her plane is swallowed by a strange storm that sends her and everyone else on board 10,000 years into the future. At first, she thinks the scary world is nothing more than a bad dream. The war-torn Earth is unrecognizable. Black fog blocks the sun, and the oceans are dry. Even worse: the planet is inhabited by half-human, half-alien creatures dying from a mysterious disease. Horrified at the thought of spending her life here, she clings to the knowledge that there’s one man who can open the star gate to send her home. As the Naki prince who controls the star gate, Akkadi gets first choice of any human female that makes her way through the star gate. Only by breeding with purebred humans from the past can his race hope to remain immune to the disease and hopefully, develop an eventual cure. With shrinking resources and a raging battle for the human planet, dutiful, commanding Akkadi is less than thrilled at the idea of trying to figure out Mandy, a woman he views as wild with neither discipline nor respect for someone in his position. He’s ready to write her off, when she offers him something too tempting to resist: her body for the chance to convince him by any means possible to send her home. Neither intends for the arrangement to be permanent or to fall for the other. Only when Mandy learns Akkadi’s secret and walks away does he realize he’ll do whatever it takes to keep her – even if it means losing his war.

"If you are lucky enough to survive the slums of Traol, the streets of Edinu will strip you of your sanity as soon as you take a step onto its corrupted streets... " ~*~*~*~*~*~*~ In Edinu, the Challengers don't fight for fame or for money. They fight for their lives. Slaves to the elite and traitors to their kind, the only life a Challenger can live is amongst the Challengers. Trained to fight to the death, it is kill or be killed, and Osiris has only ever known the act of sacrificing another's soul to spare his own. But time is running out, and even a being instructed to kill can only murder for so long before Death comes to collect its due. With the aid of another Challenger, and an unsuspecting allie, Osiris will have to discover if a life is worth living if one has never lived it at all. Or if Death was the true companion he had been searching for all along. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~ **Shortlisted in The Open Novella Contest 2019 **Highest Ranking - #85 in opennovellacontest2019
