Xutar walked silently alongside Unge 'Thermee through thick underbrush towards their objective, as always, it was simple, go to the hostile base, scout the area, and call for reinforcements to prepare an attack, In the distance a small twig snapped, immediately Xutar and Unge pulled out their Plasma rifles, ready to fight, another, larger twig snapped, echoing through the air, both sangheili remained laser focus, preparing to engage aat threat .

Out of the underbrush, a small, deer like creature with two stripes emerged out of the underbrush, stared at the two sangheili dumbly, bleated, and moved on. Both Xutar and Unge holstered their weapons, Xutar's  upper mandibles twitched as he tried to process the situation, and after a good few seconds, shrugged it off and continued walking, motioning for Unge  to follow.(CC) Attribution-ShareAlike
