A young girl's world is shattered when she is turned into one of the dreaded Malfested. Forced to carry on living with a curse that most would agree is worse than death, she faces discrimination, injustice, and betrayal, taking sanctuary only in a ragtag guild of other young women experiencing the same fate.
This is technically a Soul Calibur fanfiction, but it strays from the original plot and sort of breaks the rules of the franchise's universe. I originally wrote the first draft when I was probably 9 years old, so needless to say this probably isn't my best work, but I posted it awhile back as I'm very sentimental over it. If you like cheesy fantasy-adventure stories, read on. :)

Scars and Stitches
**WARNING** Do not read if you don't want to look at your favourite Soul Eater characters in a bad light! Contains, mature-ish themes! May tug at your heart strings! Also, watch for mature language... F-bombs away~! BTW, this is a Soul Eater Fanfiction I had uploaded to Fanfiction.net, but decided to give a cover and put here in revised form. It is my most-favourited story, and I hope it does get a lot of comments here too. I do NOT own the cover in its entirety, but I did edit it a bit. For one, I tried to add scars and bruises on Maka's legs, made her other eye look sad, and added a teardrop in one of them. So...yeah if it looks ok to you then I am pretty good at picture editing. Original photocredit!: (I should really do this for all of them...) http://www.advancedanime.com/displayimage.php?pid=331305 Original story on fanfiction.net: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/6340224/1/Scars_and_Stitches What has happened? Why is Maka so depressed? Why did Black*Star give Soul a... never mind. It's too just messed up and wrong to be Soul Eater!Complete
